Today's marketing trends are: Voice activated search, mobile, Google, content, and answering customer questions effectively to differentiate yourself from the competition.
Businesses must do the following:
Satisfy customers
Make great products\offer great service
Don't just sell products, sell dreams or solutions
Focus on the experience and what the customer gets from working with you
Turn customers into evangelists, not just look at them as buyers
Master the message and the delivery simultaneously
Find an enemy and try to get people to take a side
Keep everything as simple and as easy as possible
Remember that you don't have to be the first, but "you've got to be the best"
Know your business is only limited by employees/owners thinking
Constantly look for the next problem to solve
See the opportunity for a new business relationship everywhere.
