Tax increase in Haiti and the socialist Diaspora

I was appalled to hear a Haitian living in Europe praising the proposed taxes on the masses and praising the murderer "Papa Doc Dr Francois Duvalier." That individual, on an audio message sent through WhatsApp, said that he pays a lot of taxes in France and wish he was paying taxes in his country, Haiti. That nut job doesn't even realize that he left Haiti probably to find a job, France doesn't have 80% unemployment as it is in Haiti, France unemployment is 9.5%. Taxing the most needy before enacting economic policies that foster job creations is a none starter. The nut job doesn't realize that in France his taxes provide socialize health care, free school and I believe through college, electricity, clean water, workers protection etc. Compare that to 80% unemployment, no health care, no electricity, no clean water, bad roads, no free education, I could go on ad infinitum.

Rather than providing solution to the problems, the nut job engages in politics of division stooping lower than the opposition he is criticizing. Well I am not surprised for living in a socialist country one is used to high taxes in return for services etc. However, corruption in the developed world is kept in check and transparency is the norm such is not the case for Haiti where corruption is endemic and people are kept in the dark.

I support the Haitian resistance and will continue to do so until the current administration changes course.
